As the City Planner, you'll be at the heart of shaping Excelsior Springs' future. Your work will focus on urban planning and sustainable growth, ensuring the city remains a welcoming and prosperous place for residents and businesses alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive plans for land use, zoning, and community development
• Collaborate with city officials, residents, and business leaders to guide growth initiatives.
• Analyze data and trends to inform decision-making and create innovative solutions.
• Oversee projects that enhance infrastructure, public spaces, and the overall quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• A passionate and creative thinker who thrives on problem-solving and collaboration. Strong knowledge of urban planning, zoning, and community engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. A degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in city or regional planning is a plus.
