We're Hiring: Pharmacy Technician!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Role:  Pharmacy Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule:  Mon-Fri/7:30am-4pm
Payrate: $24/hour

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process prescriptions/medical orders.
• Collect patient information (e.g., diagnosis, allergies, medical history).
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, authenticity, and legality.
• Enter prescription details into patient profiles.
• Calibrate equipment and compound medications as prescribed.
• Measure/count dosage forms and package medications.
• Prepare and apply proper labels and auxiliary labels.
• Perform intermediate prescription checks during processing.
• Maintain and manage drug/supply inventory and records.
• Deliver medications to clinics and nursing staff.
• Review pharmacy stock for expired drugs.
• Assist pharmacists in resolving patient therapy issues.
• Perform other assigned pharmacy-related duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience within the last 3 years.
• Valid and current California Pharmacy Technician license.
• Proficient in English (oral and written communication).
