Job Opportunity: High-End Manager or Sole Proprietor at Pleasanton CPA Firm We are seeking a highly experienced professional with Public Accounting background who is interested in transitioning to a Partner role within 2 to 3 years. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and tax returns. Compile and analyze financial information, including general ledger entries and business transactions. Analyze assets, liabilities, and capital to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax reports and returns. Review financial statements prepared by staff. Provide professional judgment and recommendations on complex client issues. Supervise, train, and counsel staff to enhance their performance. Work independently with minimal supervision from partners. Perform tax, audit, and appeals representation. Possess Business Valuation experience. Optional: Experience as an expert witness. Qualifications Applicants must be capable of performing all essential duties satisfactorily. The following qualifications are required: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. CPA license. 7 to 10 years of proactive tax and accounting experience. Additional skills include: Ability to manage projects from inception to completion. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte (preferred), Engagement Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional, and other accounting software. Strong expertise in Tax, Accounting, and Auditing disciplines. Attention to detail and strong follow-through skills.
