This is the first Waxing the City franchise in Ohio, and we are looking for an experienced Esthetician to help us as we grow! The Lead Cerologist plays a key role in upholding that standard and supporting the growth of our service team.

As a Lead Cerologist, you are both a top-performing service provider and a trusted peer leader. You’ll support day-to-day studio excellence, coach fellow Cerologists, and be a culture carrier for professionalism, client care, and performance. This is a leadership role without direct management responsibilities—ideal for those ready to grow their influence within a supportive team environment.

At Waxing the City, we do things differently. Our licensed estheticians (aka Cerologists ) are waxing pros—trained in our proprietary system to master their craft and deliver top-tier services to our clients. We also go way past waxing to include lashes, brows, and skin treatments.

We’re looking for passionate a Esthetician or Cosmetologist who:

What You’ll Do:

Deliver top-notch waxing and beauty services with precision and care

Model ideal client service behaviors, from check-in to post-care

Support onboarding of new Cerologists, including technical shadowing and peer mentorship

Help maintain cleanliness, readiness, and organization in the studio

Share insights with studio leadership on service flow, supplies, or training needs

Step in as point-of-contact when manager/assistant manager is off-site

Collaborate with leadership to support goals, initiatives, and team morale

Educate clients on the benefits of waxing & skincare

Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere

Build your personal brand through social media & local events

What You Need:

Current Esthetician or Cosmetology License (2 years of practical experience preferred)

Passion for waxing & beauty

Strong communication and time management skills

A team-first attitude with exceptional customer service
