Laundry Attendant Job Description:

As a Laundry Attendant at Fairfield by Marriott, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the laundry room, supporting the housekeeping team, and ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that require teamwork, efficiency, and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and fold all linen and store them in the appropriate locations daily.
• Ensure cleanliness of laundry room and assist with stocking linen and housekeeping supplies.
• Assist in delivering requested items to guest rooms (towels, extra amenities, etc.).
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the housekeeping storage areas and equipment.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as needed.
• Ensure that all supplies and equipment are maintained and properly used.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with guests and team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
