Job Purpose

To initiate and expand the US Operation by identifying and securing new business opportunities to achieve growth in revenue and profit.

Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow revenue and profit for the US operation. Implement the agreed operating business plan within budget, while managing people effectively to enhance service, productivity, financial outcomes, employee satisfaction, and client results. The goal is to achieve over £10 m .

Key Accountabilities

Overseeing the profit and loss (P&L) of our business unit and ensuring the successful delivery of our business plan. This includes formulating both tactical and strategic approaches to achieve our goals.

Commitment to driving the success of our business unit and working to implement our strategies and achieve our objectives.

Identify and develop teams to ensure they are properly motivated and possess the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively, thereby maximizing productivity and profitability.  Ensure all performance or capability concerns are managed appropriately and appraisal/objective reviews are conducted promptly and efficiently. Conduct disciplinary or grievance hearings in accordance with Company policy.

Continuously review and enhance contract and site performance to ensure maximum efficiency and achievement of all targets and key performance indicators, thereby meeting customer and CEVA requirements and standards while ensuring maximum value to realized. Address any performance shortfalls promptly with management and resolve any resulting client issues effectively.

Leverage the CEVA network to establish CEVA’s global presence and communicate its worldwide offices to the event logistics industry through internation expansion.

Adopt a pro-active approach to cost control. Design, implement, and monitor the contract budget and take timely corrective action to ensure adherence. Maintain strong financial knowledge to meet and exceed budget goals, manage debt and enhance cost savings and working capital.

Facilitate the global negotiation of commercial terms presented to customers, ensuring compliance with company procedures for commercial approvals. Develop and deliver business proposals to potential and current organisers with the goal of securing new contracts and increasing the conversion rate of new wins.

Maintain professional relationships with colleagues in other departments (e.g. IT, HR) to identify and recommend suitable solutions that improve proposals.

Provide high quality and reliable operational solutions to customers, leveraging the collaboration of direct reports, peers and junior associates.

Work closely with our Financial and Legal teams to ensure full compliance with all CEVA policies.

Education & Qualifications

•    Good level of operational experience of managing a team of managers, including warehouse/transport/other
•    Experience and capability to formulate strategy internally and externally with clients. 
•    Proven experience of managing employee relations.
•    Demonstrable experience of successful decision-making day to day.
•    Experience of producing, managing and planning budgets.
•    Demonstrable experience of building and developing client relationship.
