Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Schedule is 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 4:00a to 12:00p. Duties include driving to Birmingham and Nashville accounts, working in the lab, and delivering around town. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours, and schedules based on business need. Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries using a company vehicle (non-CDL), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, loading/unloading containers, using a handheld tablet for scanning and navigation, processing returned packages, maintaining vehicles, performing minor roadside repairs, general facility cleaning, and adhering to safety standards and DOT regulations. Must maintain accurate logs and participate in required training such as biohazard waste handling, radiation safety, HIPAA, and safe driving procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license with a good driving record, minimum age of 18, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, comfort driving in all weather conditions, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
