Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, International Relationship, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation, editing, or journalism. Experience working in a fast-paced media environment is preferred. Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of SEO, social media platforms, and content trends. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling. Creative, proactive, and able to think critically. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality digital content (articles, news pieces, features, and multimedia content) for the company’s online platforms, including websites, social media, and mobile apps. Ensure all content aligns with the company’s editorial standards, tone, and style guidelines. Collaborate with the design and video production teams to create engaging multimedia content. Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on current events, industry trends, and audience preferences to produce relevant and timely content. Monitor competitor platforms and suggest innovative content strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Audience Engagement: Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and traffic. Engage with the audience through comments, social media, and other interactive platforms to build a loyal community. Team Collaboration: Work closely with reporters, journalists, and other editors to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content. Participate in editorial meetings to brainstorm ideas and plan content calendars. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all content complies with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Fact-check and verify sources to maintain credibility and accuracy.
