Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $18.50 an hour
1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm
2nd shift - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd shift - 12 am to 8 am
*Overtime can be heavy and scheduled prior to shift start time

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Desire for 2 years of experience and/or educational courses related to machinery.
• Experience or knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with thermal cutting machinery, laser and welding.

What's the Job?

• Inspect incoming material for quality specifications and quantities.
• Receive and issue raw material to and from saws, trucks, and storage areas by operating an overhead crane.
• Work primarily on the robotic welder and fabrication of products utilizing other CNC machines.
• Set up, operate, and adjust process variables to meet quality demands.
• Utilize knowledge of blueprint reading, thermal cutting machinery, flat laser operation, and tube bending in daily tasks.
