Job Description

As a Client Success Advocate , you'll play a key role in ensuring that both our customers and our sales team have everything they need to succeed. Think of this role as part customer service champion, part sales support guru, and 100% essential to keeping things running smoothly. You'll be the connector between customers, sales reps, vendors, and internal teams; supporting day-to-day processes, resolving issues, and helping deliver an excellent client experience every step of the way. What You'll Do Be the First Line of Support: Respond to customer inquiries on order status, product info, billing, shipping, returns, and anything else that keeps things moving. Process with Precision: Enter and manage sales quotes, purchase orders, and demo requests with a high degree of accuracy-every detail matters when it comes to delivering great service. Keep Communication Flowing: Act as a hub between clients, vendors, our warehouse, and the sales team to ensure seamless coordination. Maintain the Details: Document interactions, track open requests, and keep client records organized and up to date in our systems. Support the Sales Reps: Take on the admin and logistics so our sales team can focus on relationship-building and closing deals. Tackle Issues Head-On: Troubleshoot problems, loop in the right people, and follow up like a pro to ensure timely resolutions. Deliver Insights: Provide reps with helpful research, account updates, and vendor information to support smarter selling. Contribute to the Experience: Identify opportunities to improve our processes and enhance the overall customer experience. Stay In the Know: Keep up with Heartland's products and services so you can speak confidently with both clients and internal teams. What You Bring to the Table ~ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. ~2-4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or operational coordination. ~ Strong interpersonal and communication skills-written, verbal, and everything in between. ~ A customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to getting things done. ~ Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office; bonus points for comfort with ERP or order management systems. ~ Ability to juggle tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. ~ Prior experience working with manufacturers, distributors, or in a technical or B2B sales environment is a plus. ~ Experience in people-focused industries like tech, retail, hospitality, fitness, or restaurants-and/or background in sales, internships, sports, or community involvement. ~ A team player who's comfortable collaborating across departments and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
